Horton hears a Yoo-hoo!

During July I've had a lot of opportunities to take a break from Nannying to visit my home and play with my friends and family.
2 weekends ago I got to "relax" for almost a week in Orem!

Me and Taylor (one of my most bestest friends in the whole world. I love her so much) went to a reception for a friend and than hit up Tuesday Night Karaoke @ Applebee's.
I hate being bored and Taylor is the complete opposite of boring. Lots of good times:)

Dallin, the lady with curlers, and I went to Yogurtland. During the week I was home, Dallin managed to get his foot run over by a car and do some sort of crazy flip in our dark basement and cut his face open. Caution isn't quite a word he understands yet, but we love him anyways!

This weekend was Pioneer Day and..... the ever-adventurous Horton Family Reunion! I have an endless amount of cousins, aunts, and uncles. It's the perfect recipe for a great life. I love my family. It was especially fun, because my mom's brother Paul was in town from Oregon with his family. His daughter, Madison, is my age and she is the sweetest. Madison, me, and Bethany have always been such great friends. I love having cousins my age.

I came home late Saturday night and drove to the sight and sound of fireworks all over the mountain. Sunday night we had a Lasagna Get-Any-On-Ya dinner. I'm not a lasagna or Italian lover, but I downed Linda's kale salad. It is the so simple and delicious. She is a genius.

Monday was busy busy busy! We went to Seven Peaks, than I headed straight down to Spanish Fork to watch my sister, Sarianne, in the play Hairspray. She was Shelley. Very funny play, I loved it.

After the play I headed straight to my good friend Carley Victoria Cosgrove's (soon to be Carley Victoria Cosgrove Call) bridal shower. She is getting hitched on Saturday. I can't believe it! I've known this girl since 7th grade. She is a beauty.

Right after the shower I was heading to the Horton residence to watch an outdoor movie, but the unfortunate change in weather caused us to move the movie inside to the nearest church. We watched "How To Train Your Dragon".
Do you know which one is the real "Hiccup" and which is Landon? I can hardly see a difference.

Tuesday we took a chance with the weather and hiked up to Stewart Falls. I love the mountains so much. Hiking is like a gift. I'm so grateful for my legs and for the mountains in my Utah.
Can you spy Dallin?

That night we had a BBQ and fireworks (after the rain subsided).
My mommy surprised me with Cupcake Chic cupcakes (strawberry lemonade, S'mores, and Dark Chocolate) for my birthday. My birthday isn't actually until August 21, but I came back up to Park City to Nanny this morning and won't be back home again until the end of Septemeber. When she came around the corner singing Happy Birthday I lost it. Not only did I start bawling, but I triggered a chain reaction and soon everyone was in tears. I love my mom, she is the best and I miss her every second.
